Hotel, resort and travel photographer and writer. Internationally published and contributing photographer to The New York Times. Photographed more than 30 countries in 5 continents plus most of the United States. “I haven’t been everywhere. But it’s on my list.”
Why do you travel and photograph your journeys?
I want to share images and stories of my adventures hoping that it will inspire and motivate others to travel.

How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
I usually travel with a local guide and I keep my gear unseen until I’m ready to use it
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local?
Eat where the locals eat. Listen to conversations and ask questions to locals. If you’re genuinely interested and authentic, they’ll do everything they can to share the best locations. Kindness and genuine interest go a long way to a successful adventure
